OUR STORY Kitchen Koaches was founded by Kaari Owens & Kimberly McConnell, two neighbors and friends from New Braunfels, Texas. At the creation of Kitchen Koaches, Kim worked full time as a College Professor and was also raising 3 children. Kaari was a full time student  and stay at home mother raising 5 young children. Since the business began, several things have changed! Kimberly is now home full time and Kaari has delivered her 6th wonderful baby! We are now dedicated WAHM's and are proud to be able to share our ideas through our books and gifts items while still being home with the kids!

THE BEGINNING After becoming friends, we discovered that although we had contrasting lifestyles in one sense, we also had a lot in common. We were both new to our neighborhood, both military wives and most of all, loving mothers to many wonderful children. One of the other things we found that we had in common was the age old dreaded dilemma; mealtime. We were both so busy all day that dinner was usually an afterthought. A lot of the time it was too late and pizza ended up on the table....again! Because we wanted to do what was best for our families and because we had both previously been avid meal planners, we decided to come up with a plan to get ourselves and those we knew, back on track!

THE CREATION After talking to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues, we found that this was a universal problem that needed a solution. We began by looking for the answer in some type of all-in-one cookbook, but found that none existed! Nobody had created a book that had it all. We decided that we wanted to be the first to develop a cookbook that gave you everything you needed when it came to meal planning and preparation! We took all of your requests, suggestions and needs, mixed them together with our own ideas, let them cook up for awhile and we finally came up with Kitchen Koaches first cookbook " Put a Lid on It!" Since the original book was created, we have written another book, Create A Cookbook, and also added new inserts to the book which has been keeping us quite busy! We hope that this is what you have been waiting for and that you will always come to Kitchen Koaches in the future to help you with your meal planning, preparation and cooking needs!
